Heavy rains and flooding have halted work at brick factories in Sheikhupura, Pakistan. 178 families of children studying at the ABC Rasta School are now without a regular income, with most of the parents making a living from daily wage brick making.
ABC Children's Aid has therefore started an emergency fundraiser to provide families with simple food packages with the most essential food items for the duration of the situation.
The families have little or no financial reserves, and when work stops, food quickly becomes scarce.
