The main role of ABC Childcare

The main role of ABC Children's Aid is

  • Providing disadvantaged and poor children with access to a quality education
  • Ensure at least 1 school meal per day
  • Taking care of children's health issues

In addition, ABC Children's Aid carries out other projects, such as developing our work areas and thus ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment, offering adult education, such as reading lessons, contributing to improving the livelihoods of the poor and providing emergency relief.

"We believe that every child in the world has the right to education."

Over 260 million children are out of school today. ABC Children's Aid was founded to change that situation — one child, one sponsor, one change at a time.

“Before Vela, approvals felt vague. Now there’s a clear moment when everything is agreed on, and I can move forward with confidence.”

When a child receives an education, new possibilities open up.

When a child receives an education, new possibilities open up. They can find a job, build an independent life, and contribute to society.

That's why your support matters. Every child we reach is a step towards a more just world where education is not a privilege — but a right for every individual.

In the world today, there are millions of children who are denied the opportunity for education due to poverty. For many of them, daily life is more about finding food or working to help support their families than sitting in a classroom.

ABC Children's Aid is working to change this. With the support of our sponsors, we can help children get to school, learn new skills, and create a better future for themselves.

Rimsha Asif is an 18-year-old girl from Sheikhupura, Pakistan. Her life has been marked by great challenges from a young age. Her mother passed away when Rimsha was a child, and the family lives in poverty, with her father working in brick-making. In addition, her brother is paralyzed and requires constant care. Despite these difficult circumstances, Rimsha has not given up. With support from ABC Children's Aid, she had the opportunity to study at the Rasta Sewing School, where she learned to sew traditional Pakistani women's clothing, children's clothing, and embroidery work. The training gave her not only valuable job skills but also greater self-confidence and belief in her own future. Today, Rimsha aims to work from home as a seamstress and contribute to supporting her family. With the sewing machine she received upon graduating from the school, she can take on projects, earn income, and help meet her family's needs, including caring for her brother. Rimsha's story shows how education and the right opportunities can change a person's life. Where there were once limited possibilities, there is now hope, purpose, and belief in a better future.

Computer education is an important part of MCE's work in Kenya, with strong emphasis placed on building students' digital skills. Special classes are held on Saturdays where students get the chance to become familiar with computers, learn the basics of computer use, and improve their typing skills. The training boosts students' confidence and helps them use digital technology more safely and purposefully. Students also take part in Tutor Web learning, where they earn points through study and coursework. These points can then be converted into monetary value, which they use to buy essential items such as hygiene products, stationery, clothing, or other necessities. In this way, they learn important lessons in financial literacy, goal-setting, and responsibility in their own decision-making. Some students have also received tablets, which make it easier to access their studies and give them the opportunity to further strengthen their digital skills. The goal is to better prepare the children for continued education and to increase their opportunities for the future in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Home of Peace in Bangladesh provides students in grades 6–10 with sewing training aimed at fostering independence and preparing them for future employment. With 292 students (183 girls and 109 boys), the training takes place in small groups. This skill helps students support their own education, contribute to their family's income, and opens doors to careers in garment sewing or fashion design— giving them hope for a brighter future.
