We received a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to renovate and convert premises to open a maternity ward to improve access and quality of maternity services for mothers in the rural areas around Rackoko.

We received a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to build a malaria ward in the organization's premises, which had been damaged in a storm a few years earlier.

Opening of a tailoring school in Pakistan in 2023

We received a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to open a tailoring school for young women in the vicinity of the school.

Opening of dormitories in northern Uganda in 2024

We received a grant from the Icelandic Ministry of Foreign Affairs to rebuild a dormitory on the organization's school grounds where classrooms used to be.

New classrooms at ABC School in Rackoko 2025

In the fall of 2025, ABC Children's Aid received a grant from the Icelandic Ministry of Foreign Affairs to build new classrooms at the ABC School in Rackoko in northern Uganda. The old school building had collapsed in a storm.

The project was an important step in improving educational facilities for children in the area. The new building will create a better and safer learning environment, reduce classroom overcrowding, and increase opportunities for more children to attend school.

The project was carried out in close collaboration with local people and ABC partners in Uganda, with a focus on sustainability and long-term impact for the community as a whole.

Classrooms in Burkina Faso 2025

In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ABC Children's Aid undertook the construction of a three-story extension to the secondary school in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso.

The extension significantly improves the school's learning facilities and creates space for more students. The project is an important part of improving access to quality education for children and young people in the area.
